Healing architecture is the future
Studies show time and time again that calming environments help to promote calm and healing in the patient, and that "healing architecture" is therefore a benefit for all parties.
The concept is gaining a lot of ground all over the world and Duelco has long been at the forefront of developing intelligent furniture solutions for healthcare.
The fealing of a homely atmosphere.
Duelco manufactures tailor-made medical technology solutions and is particularly known for bed head units with the possibility of installing electricity, data, patient calls, gases, vacuum, patient entertainment and, for example, circadian lighting with adjustment of the colour and intensity of the light.
The bed head unit have been developed in collaboration with designers, architects and user groups. The panels are based on the principles of healing architecture, which appear without visible technical installations and appear inviting and homely. This applies to both the stylish and timeless Capri series in aluminium and not least this year's novelty: Orchide.
Home, Sweet home
Orchide is available in neutral colours as well as elegant veneer variants that form a harmonious whole with an integrated headboard and wall panel where switches, sockets and installations are visually "out of sight" for patients and relatives. The veneer is a compact laminate and can be delivered in light, Nordic woods such as beech and oak, which many people decorate their homes with.
Flexibility
A characteristic of Duelco's bed head unit is that they can be placed either vertically or horizontally. This gives you great flexibility in the care room and can maintain a uniform design expression. The panels are designed with Duelco mini gas outlets, which follow Scandinavian standards. This means that they can be mounted in existing systems, just as they can be manufactured with DIN couplings and the like.
The panels are also made with LK Clic'Line as standard. To achieve maximum flexibility and compatibility with existing systems. They can also be installed with, for example, LK Opus and 80 mm systems – or the narrow 45 mm modules that Duelco is the only one to offer.
IRIS Wash Wall
The new IRIS Clinical Wash Wall from Duelco is a complete wash wall that can be adjusted in height so that the sink, soap dispenser, mirror, gloves, napkins, etc. follow up and down. This is a great advantage if you are short, disabled, wheelchair bound or otherwise need individual height adjustment on the washing wall.
The washroom is combined with the door installation panel, which usually has lighting control, heat control, patient calls, etc., on the left side, while the opposite side can be used for e.g. sockets.
In consultation with the hospital, the washrooms are tailored to the individual room with the desired functions, sink, mirror, etc.
The washroom is available in widths of 80-160 cm x the total height of the room and is delivered fully assembled as a single unit for the hospital.
