Danish innovation for the healthcare sector
Today, Duelco is involved in the design of patient rooms in 80% of all Danish hospitals and increasingly also in hospitals throughout the Nordic region, from Finland to the Faroe Islands. Together with designers, architects and user groups, we are involved in the entire process.
Duelco's care room panels are based on the principles of "healing architecture" that make patients feel safe. Many studies confirm that a confident patient experiences less pain, is less stressed and recovers faster.
The panels appear without technical installations and are delivered in the well-known, light, Nordic woods such as beech and oak to bring organic and homely materials into the room
All medical installations are hidden
The bed head units contain all medical installations used for the treatment, including electrical outlets, nurse calls, gases, suction, circadian lighting, rail for suspension equipment, control for blinds and more.
These functions are stored in Duelco's panels, so that they are not visible to the patient or relatives, and are still easily accessible to the staff.
Optional equipment gives the patient peace of mind
At the bottom of the panel is also a motion sensor that lights up when you get out of bed at night and have to navigate in the dark, possibly in a room with other sleeping patients. At the room door, a panel is also mounted to control the room.
In this way, the entire interior contributes to the patient feeling at home, calming down, being more cooperative and generally recovering faster than in the regular wards.
